Fintech has been one of the most well-funded spaces in venture capital. In the wake of the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank and FTX, the vertical is being reshaped. From neobanks and asset management platforms to payment and blockchain infrastructure, investors are looking for the next big thing in fintech.

Investors poured $57.6 billion into fintech startups globally in 2022, according to PitchBook data. Startups like Trade Republic, Stripe and Klarna have raised large sums from nontraditional investors like hedge fund Tiger Global and Coinbase’s venture arm Coinbase Ventures, which are among the most active firms in the vertical.

While VC deal value declined across both retail and enterprise fintech from its record high of $97.2 billion in 2021, investment into the vertical remains historically high.

Here are the 10 most active global investors in fintech VC deals since 2017, according to PitchBook data.
