By expanding our European datasets, we’ve made hundreds of thousands of private companies across Europe more discoverable. This includes 250,000 new company profiles, improved coverage across Western European countries, and 10 years of financials across most of the newly added companies.

 

Fund families 

Our new fund families feature makes it simple to understand the historical performance of fund strategies within firms to identify the right opportunities for you. Using the tool’s new charts, you can quickly benchmark the performance of any fund over time, relative to its peer group and the other funds in the same family.

 

Debt and lenders alerts 

Keep up on competing lender activity, when a company takes on new debt and more with our new debt and lenders alerts. Simply set alerts on any of your debt searches to see new debt, new lenders, current news, and management changes related to the lender you’ve selected.

 

Expanded keyword search 

Quickly broaden any of your search results by using our expanded keyword search function to automatically pull in related keywords. We’ve made it easy to turn on or off with a new checkbox in the “Industries, Verticals & Keywords” search field—and it still gives you the ability to remove suggested keywords that don’t fit what you’re looking for.

 

Public company ownership data

Newly-added ownership data on public companies reveals top shareholders, portfolio concentration and how holdings have changed over time, making it easier to see which firms control a company.

 

Collaborative lists, searches and Market Maps

  Share and collaborate on saved lists, searches and custom market maps. Invite feedback, set permissions and see updates in real-time–without leaving the platform.

 

Advanced Search improvements for LPs and GPs

We’ve made it easier for LPs and GPs to find relevant results from our Advanced Search by including new criteria and columns related to terms and fees, LPs that are under/over-allocated to a specific asset class and other improvements.

Access 145,000+ unique estimates across 30,000+ markets, curate lists based on geography, source or publish date and download presentation-ready visuals.

 

Custom benchmarks

Get a better understanding of fund performance and create benchmarks with custom peer groups based on the criteria of your choice–including portfolio construction and industry. Plus, access built-in pivot tables to easily identify hurdle rates for peer groups or visualize performance data including IRR, cash multiples (TVPI, DPI, RVPI) and PME (Public Market Equivalent).

 

Normalized profitability metrics

Make more confident investment decisions with access to normalized profitability metrics for more than 11,000 public companies. By removing any items in a company’s financial statement that are either unlikely to be repeated or are unrelated to its usual operations, these adjustments increase the comparable accuracy of key trading multiples, such as price-to-earnings and enterprise value to EBITDA.

 

Public API

Users of our API can now get even more granular and further specify which PitchBook data endpoints they want to pull—and leave behind those they don’t—depending on their strategy and needs.

 

M&A Comps Tabs

Streamline your valuations workflow using PitchBook's M&A Comps feature, which makes it easier to discover acquisitions of similar companies as well as view and summarize the deal multiples of a company's peers.
